Mains Pressure |
|
Mains pressure systems offer so
many benefits over conventional gravity-fed systems including a dry roof
space, with no tanks or pipes in the loft - so no need to worry about
freezing pipes in the winter. All this plus mains pressure hot water to all
the taps an power shower performance. |
 |
Hot Water |
|
With hot water delivered up to 35
litres per minute, BoilerMate 2000 has the capability to cope with high
simultaneous demand - this gives the ability to run a bath and take a shower
at the same time. In addition, recent tests have shown the BoilerMate 225
during a one hour peak period produces the same amount of hot water as a
350-400 litre unvented cylinder. |
 |
Responsive
Central Heating |
|
The primary water in the
BoilerMate 2000 Thermal Store is always available instantly at optimum
temperature, so there's no long wait for heating to warm up, and there are
models in the range suitable for applications from a single bedroom right up
to a six bedroom house. |
 |
Quality Water |
|
As both the cold and hot water
come direct from the mains, it is high quality potable water at every tap
which eliminates the risk of legionella as well as contamination by dirt or
insects. The plate heat exchanger, combined with Gledhill's microprocessor
technology, removes the need for inline scale inhibitors on the branch of the
appliance. |
 |
Thermally
Efficient |
|
The unit is insulated with very
high efficiency foam but this is totally encased on a steel jacket. It is not
widely appreciated that uncased foam can lose up to 40% of it's insulation
value of the first few weeks. This ageing is dramatically reduced if the foam
is steel cased and of course this eliminates the serious consequences of
toxic smaoke in the building in the event of a fire. |
 |
Maintenance
Free |
|
Unlike an unvented cylinder,
BoilerMate 2000 does not require an annual check by a competent engineer. It
is a failsafe system and this reduces the responsibility placed on landlords
and householders when compared to an unvented installation. |
 |
Construction |
|
Thermal store is manufactured from
copper sheet conforming to BS 2870. BoilerMate 2000 is supplied
factory-insulated to maximise savings, with a galvanised mild steel case
finished in mushroom and jade. All installation fixings and service
requirements can be carried out from the front of the unit, so there is no
access required from the sides. |
 |
Microprocessor
Control |
|
BoilerMate 2000 incorporates an
integrated microprocessor-based digital control system and wiring centre.
This intelligent control control system automatically commissions the
appliance and provides full fault diagnostics. |
 |
Heating
Programme Clock |
|
The BoilerMate 2000 central
heating programme is controlled by an electromechanical time clock, supplied
as standard. A digital clock is an option. Both clocks are interchangeable
and a remote fixing kit is available on request. |
