| Open vented - highly
insulated and efficient, the TORRENT is a thermal store that does not require
building regulations approval, certification or annual maintenance.
Easy to install - the TORRENT can be fitted simply into existing systems, including the existing boiler and controls, where appropriate. Can be fitted without specialist certification. Does not require - expensive safety controls or temperature and pressure relief pipework to outside. No need - for external expansion vessels - and wiring is the same as any traditional Y, S or W plan system. Long Life - the TORRENT is manufactured from copper sheet to BS2870. The computer designed heat exchangers are produced from finned tube and incorporate a patented expansion chamber which is sealed for life. Safety - of a traditional system. Vented, and therefore inherently safe, the thermal store is not subject to Building Control Regulations - thus simplifying installation and reducing annual maintenance costs associated with unvented systems (requiring CITB Trained personnel with G3 approval - BS6700). |

| What is a Thermal Store? |
| A Thermal Store is a vessel which
acts like a battery for heat. Mains pressure cold water enters a heat
exchanger within the store where heat is transferred directly to the incoming
water supply. Mains pressure hot water exits the cylinder but does not mix
with the contents.
