Direct and Indirect open vented copper hot water cylinders

Choose from this range of premium quality hand made hot water tanks and cylinders. Each copper vessel can be manufactured with connections in positions to suit your existing pipe work (on provision of a drawing), easing the work of retrofit. Additional tappings for power shower take-off and secondary return can be fitted, if required, upon request.

All hot water cylinders and tanks are finished with a superior insulating jacket. The new Envirofoam insulation exceeds expectation of Part L of the Building Regulations and is fully biodegradable, making your purchase a sound investment in terms of quality, energy efficiency and has a ZERO environmental affect.

Indirect copper hot water cylinder - for use on a gravity system with heat supplied by a boiler

Note: Cylinder illustrations are for guidance only. Connections may be positioned to customer requirements (please refer to Designing a Cylinder section) and those shown should not be regarded as 'standard'.

Illustrations show a shower take off/secondary return side mounted at high level. This is not a standard feature and as with a drain, boiler control stat/sensor pocket or any other feature should be stated as a requirement.

Immersion heater bosses may be positioned on the side or top of cylinder. Diagram shows both for illustrative purposes only.

Positioning tappings to your specification does not normally attract a supplementary charge

When sizing a cylinder remember the stated dimensions do not include the thickness of insulation. You must add the thickness of insulation to the cylinder dimension to obtain the finished size. This is most important if the cylinder needs to pass through a doorway or access hatch. Make sure you have enough room to make connections and service immersion heaters.
