When installing a hot water cylinder either
in a new system or maybe as a replacement for an old copper
cylinder you might consider one of the new generation of
stainless steel units.
The Gledhill ReplaCyl is predominantly a
family of indirect stainless steel cylinders (with one exception
- the 900 x 450 Direct model) that could be perfect for the job.
Stainless Steel boasts properties that make
it more resilient to corrosion. The ReplaCyl is a strong
contender in areas where water is hard and therefore aggressive.
With connections positioned in accordance
with BS1566 the ReplaCyl is a true replacement for traditional
copper cylinders manufactured with these standard tapping
heights.
The ReplaCyl is supplied complete with
compression fittings for easy installation, an 'O' ring to seat
an immersion heater, conforms to Part L (Building Regs) and has
an ErP Water Heating Efficiency rating of 'B'.
