Vaillant geoTHERM air AWHP systems are suitable
for a wide range of applications in new build
properties and refurbishments. They also have
high energy efficiency ratings and utilise
minimal ozone depleting potential (ODP)
refrigerants. Due to its high energy efficiency,
it is more environmentally friendly than most
conventional heating systems.
The heat pump cycle:
1. Heat withdrawn from the air is transferred to
the refrigerant. The refrigerant absorbs the
heat and changes from a liquid to a gas.
2. The gaseous refrigerant is then passed
through a compressor. As the gaseous refrigerant
is compressed, its temperature increases
further.
