Ordering your discount appliances from HPS Ltd. couldn't be easier.

We are a Trade Merchant supplier. You are welcome to order direct from us and enjoy the discounts normally available to the trade only. The only thing we ask is that you identify what you need before you make a purchase. Returns are costly to us all, so it's better to ask questions before purchase. Unlike some merchants we are only too happy to help, so don't hesitate to call if there's something you need assistance with.

  • Simply browse through the website and identify the product that you require. Be sure of your requirement before you purchase.
  • Friendly telephone assistance is available if required. We will happily spend time with you to ensure your purchase is suitable before you commit yourself.

Getting your purchase to you

Delivery

No fuss. No bother. Delivery times can vary according to your requirement. You can however rest assured that your satisfaction is our number one priority. We always aim to deliver within 2 to 3 working days (subject to stock and availability). There are going to be occasions when events beyond our control compromise our normally efficient schedule. If delivery is likely to take longer we will advise you at the time of order or as soon as we become aware of any variation. Honesty is our policy. If things don't go strictly to plan we will always make sure you are kept fully informed.

Delivery charges

There is a typical charge of 5.99 (or 11.99 for larger items and those requiring special handling) for delivery of most products to almost all of the mainland UK. Certain awkward items, goods that need specialist carriers or deliveries to certain remote mainland locations and offshore destinations may incur additional costs. Should this be the case you will be advised before your order is accepted.

 

Your receipt of purchase

When you purchase a product from us you will receive a receipt itemising the goods, their cost, delivery charges and an analysis of VAT charged. Your receipt is issued under separate cover and will not usually accompany or arrive with the goods. When you receive your receipt you should keep it in a safe place. It is your proof of purchase and will be required should there be any issues with your purchase under warranty.

 

Warranty

All goods sold within the UK benefit from a minimum warranty period of one year from the date of purchase. Extended warranties, when offered, are special arrangements made by manufacturers. Unless stated, all products on this website benefit from the Statutory 1 year warranty.

 

In the event that you have a warranty issue within the first year you should bring the matter to our attention. As your supplier we will endeavour to have the matter dealt with in the most expedient manner at our discretion. If you have an issue during an extended warranty period (when applicable) we will always endeavour to help but you should appreciate your cover is with the manufacturer or their agent.

It is our desire to keep costs to a minimum in order that we may pass savings on in the form of lower prices. We would rather help you chose before you order to avoid unnecessary mistakes and costly returns. Every effort will be made to assist you before you commit yourself to a purchase.

You should make every reasonable effort to ensure the goods you order are suitable for your installation. If you are in any doubt you should seek any necessary advice. If you are unfamiliar with or unsure of the product's suitability or quality you should endeavour to identify a location at which the product may be examined prior to purchase. Returning goods on the grounds that they were ordered in error is costly.

In the event that goods are returned the following shall apply -

  • Return of goods is subject to our terms and conditions.
  • Goods must be returned complete and in saleable condition. This includes packaging.
  • In all cases the cost of returning goods together with their safety whilst in transit shall be the responsibility of the purchaser. Returned goods received in damaged or incomplete condition for any reason will not be accepted for restocking.
  • An administration charge (variable up to 25%) will apply to all returns unless it is agreed that the return forms part of an exchange for an alternative purchase from us. In many cases the administration charge will cover the cost of collecting a return.
  • Special order items will not be accepted for return.
  • Any costs incurred by us for performance of the initial order will not be refundable.
  • Your Statutory rights are unaffected.
