Direct and Indirect open vented copper hot water cylinders

These ERP compliant cylinders have strong environmental credentials including:

  • Industry leading HCFC free insulation
  • Exceptionally low standing heat loss
  • Insulation incorporates Polyol which is derived from rapeseed oil - a fully renewable resource
  • Being a copper cylinder in the inside the product is fully recyclable

As well as being the most attractive open vented copper cylinder available on the market today other benefits include:

The INDIRECT cylinder is supplied with a single immersion heater port (top or side mounted) and a boiler coil (heat exchanger) suitable for a pumped heat source.

Illustrations may show a shower take off/secondary return side mounted at high level. This is

not a standard feature and as with a drain, boiler control stat/sensor pocket or any other feature

should be stated as a requirement.

 

Immersion heater bosses may be positioned on the side or top of cylinder. Diagrams may show

both for illustrative purposes only.

DIRECT Copper hot water cylinder prices

By its modern definition the DIRECT hot water cylinder is heated by electrical immersion heater/s only. The immersion heater port/s can be positioned on top of the cylinder (standard position) or on the side by request.

The traditional definition of a DIRECT cylinder had tappings to take the contents to a remote heat source then put back in the cylinder when heated. If this is what you require please ensure you make this clear when enquiring.

Positioning tappings to your specification does not normally attract a supplementary charge
     
When sizing a cylinder remember the stated dimensions do not include the thickness of insulation. You must add the thickness of insulation to the cylinder dimension to obtain the finished size. This is most important if the cylinder needs to pass through a doorway or access hatch. Make sure you have enough room to make connections and service immersion heaters.
